NTUC Surrogate Employer Programme

1.    Who qualify for the NTUC-SEP?

Applicant who wishes to apply for training support must satisfy the following SDF  and NTUC-SEP eligibility criteria:

a. SDF Eligibility Criteria

  • Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Be gainfully employed
  • One course at any one time
  • Course with same course title / level / module / semester will be sponsored only once
 b. NTUC-SEP Criteria
  • Applicant has to be a union member at the point of application submission and course commencement
  • Maintain paid-up union membership throughout the entire duration of the course
  • Maximum age of 65 as at course start date
  • Must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for each application and sat for all prescribed examinations
  • Trainee has to inform NTUC if he /she ceased being employed anytime during the course
  • Trainee shall adhere to the terms and conditions of the NTUC-SEP / NETF. Non satisfaction of any of the above criteria may result in the revocation of the funding support already granted, if any

3.    How can i apply for funding support under NTUC-SEP?

  • Online registration (https://skillsupgrade.ntuc.org.sg/login_NETF.asp)
  • Submit your application via online at least 30 days but not more than 2 months before course start.
  • You are required to attach the following documents for the online application :              
  • CPF contribution history (6 mths)                               
  • NRIC (front& back),                                                  
  • Bank Account (name and account number reflected),                                                  
  • Copy of latest payslip
  • Please print out and keep a copy of the application ID page at the end of your online submission
  • While you are waiting for NTUC e2i ’s approval, please register the course online
  • We will send confirmation notice of your course registration via email upon NTUC e2i’s approval of your NTUC-SEP application

4. Important Note

  • Your application is ONLY deemed complete and successfully received by e2i for processing when you see the application ID screenshot
  • e2i will reject your application even though you submitted your application within the timeframe if you did not submit all the required documents/fulfilled the eligibility criteria
  • e2i will not consider any appeals
