Ignition On/Off
Identifies if the vehicle is parked with ignition on, which may lead to wastage of fuel. This feature can also be used to monitor Cold Trucks which need to be “warmed-up” to reach the optimum operating temperature.

Travelling Speed
Ensures your vehicles comply with speed limits – resulting in reduced traffic offences and improved safety of the drivers, assuring customers that their goods are in safe hands.

Geo Boundary Alerts
Alerts you when your vehicles enter a preset virtual boundary, eg. the perimeters of your customer’s building or even the road leading to it. Email or SMS can be generated to inform your customer that your vehicles are within minutes away, delivering a greatly improved customer experience.

Accurate Location Prediction
Provides a location fix on your fleet with an accuracy of up to 20m. This allows for easy and effortless tracking of your personnel and assets, helping you to formulate and plan for a more efficient workflow system that boosts productivity and reduces time wastage.

Prevents hijacking by immobilising your vehicles if it falls into the wrong hands.

• How does this solution help me in my route planning?
  One of the many features of SingTel Fleet Visibility is history tracking which allows you to view and replay any travel routes taken by any of your vehicles at any day and time. As you track past movements of your fleet over some time, you can build knowledge about dates, times, locations and delivery times. This information helps you to plan more efficient routes and fleet usage to optimize delivery times and reduce costs for fuel and maintenance.  
• I have GPS already installed in my fleet. Can I integrate it with SingTel Fleet Visibility Solution?
  No, you will not be able to integrate the two systems. The GPS in most vehicles is only a map for giving directions to the driver. The SingTel Fleet Visibility solution is more than a simple GPS. It gives the position of the vehicle, the direction and speed it’s on and the driving history of vehicles.
• How can it ensure all my deliveries will be on time?
  SingTel Fleet Visibility allows you to:
  • Check if all your vehicles are operating efficiently and delivering punctually at all times, at a glance.
  • Spot and address issues as they happen, such as traffic delays or vehicles that detour from a designated route. Now you can inform your customers in real time if there are any delays in delivery. Keeping them updated reduces complaints.
  • Inform your customers when their orders are on their way, nearby or delayed by SMS alerts.
  • Immediately re-route the nearest operational vehicle to take over the delivery in case of a breakdown or an emergency.
• Do I need IT support?
  No. There is no need to hire IT staff or buy expensive computer equipment to run this system. As a result, it is very easy to maintain. Your monthly subscription covers the maintenance of this solution. SingTel will handle all the technical aspects required for this solution.
• Is this solution expensive?
  With no IT infrastructure required, SingTel Fleet Visibility is affordable and easy to implement, use and maintain. Installation in your vehicle takes half a day and you can track your delivery vehicle via an Internet browser by logging into SingTel Fleet Visibility account. There is a one-time charge for the installation of the vehicle and a monthly recurring charge for the user license. Any maintenance, if required at all, is included in this monthly fee. You would need to sign a 24-month term contract for this solution. 
• What is the difference between anti-theft devices already in my vehicles and this solution?
  Most alarm systems found in vehicles do act as a deterrent. But without the ability to recover the stolen vehicle, the usefulness of an alarm security system might be limited. SingTel Fleet Visibility allows you to immobilise your vehicles when theft is reported. In addition, it allows accurate tracking of your vehicle for recovery by authorities. This function works everywhere in Singapore and Malaysia.
• We are a small company – isn’t this more suitable for big companies?
  Protecting your investment is important regardless of the size of your fleet. Each vehicle is more important for a small company, as the business cost of a vehicle loss is higher.
