Logistics Fair

It was a full day of fun activities, games and yummy eats at the Logistics Fair 2019, launched by the Chairmen of CDAS, SAAA@Singapore, SLA, STA as well as senior ESG officials. The fair brought the logistics industry together with their family members, friends and individuals from all walks of life to learn how logistics is beyond the traditional moving of cartons and warehousing.

One of the notable highlights was the WSH Forklift Champions’ League presented by Workplace Safety and Health Council and BYD Forklift which aimed to engage different levels of workforce and raise awareness in best practices in WSH. 12 teams participated and Team Poh Tiong Choon Logistics emerged as Champion, walking away with NTUC vouchers worth $2,000.

There was also an Indoor Exhibition presented in 3 main areas: Innovation & Technology, Skills & Talents and Enterprise Capabilities; outdoor logistics mobile assets display area; fun games and activities; food stalls; live stations as well as a photo booth. In the evening, there was an outdoor movie screening of "Long Long Time Ago" under the moonlight with special appearance by the film director Jack Neo.

Several organizations sponsored generously to make the fair a successful one.
