Supply of Thermometers and Face Masks
Amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, some businesses
experienced difficulties in securing thermometers for temperature
screening of their employees and visitors. Therefore the Singapore
Business Federation partnered with several Trade Associations and Chambers,
including SLA to sell forehead sensor thermometers at cost price to
respective association’s members. SLA was allocated 150 pieces. With
a cap of 2 pieces per member, 75 members secured the purchases on a first come,
first served basis.
The Association would also like
to thank a Council Member who procured face masks from an
overseas contact and offered to sell them at cost price to members as a gesture
of goodwill. SLA assisted to facilitate the sale to members on a
first come, first served basis.
