Building a Talent Pipeline for Logistics Sector: Sponsorship Awards

Playing our part to ensure a professional pipeline of future ready logistics talents for Singapore, SLA supports the various Institutes of Higher Learning through sponsorship awards to deserving graduating students annually.

Our heartiest congratulations to Temasek Polytechnic’s Diploma in Logistics & Operations Management (LOM) graduate, Ong Zheng Jie Darren, for winning the SLA Gold Medal as the top student of his course.

"I wish to thank the Singapore Logistics Association for sponsoring the Diploma in Logistics & Operations Management ‘s Course Gold Medal. As international trade between countries become more prevalent, logistics will play an increasingly more important role in the world's economy. I believe that the need for logistics as an integral part of the global supply chain will definitely expand,” Ong Zheng Jie Darren said.

In addition, Darren had also bagged a bronze medal in WorldSkills Singapore 2020 for Freight Forwarding. With a bright future ahead, we hope to see Darren’s contributions to the logistics sector in the near future!
