Last-mile Delivery and Latest Location Technologies

SLA’s CEO, Mr Oh Bee Lock, represented the logistics community as a webinar panellist that was organised by Singapore’s European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham Singapore) on Transportation (Movement of Goods) on 17th August 2021. This webinar specifically focused on the opportunities and challenges of last-mile delivery of logistics and the role of locations. 

Together with the session’s moderator, Mr Gopi Rengasamy (Global Strategy Group, by KPMG), and other speakers and panellists, Ms Sulaizah Saptoe (HERE Technologies), Mr Jason Jameson (HERE Technologies), Ms Neo Su Yin (Singapore Post Ltd), and Mr Lim Zheng Gang (foodpanda), SLA and the panel shared our insights of the newest technologies and experimental supply chain models that logistics companies have considered in their digital transformation journeys to (1) improve customer experience and exceed customer expectations through enhancing delivery reliability and visibility, (2) lower operating costs by enhancing efficiency through utilising technology tools and (3) factor in interoperability of solutions across vendors.
