The newly launched Advanced Diploma in Digital Supply Chain by TLA was introduced to a group of potential participants on 20 September 2021, as a prelude to the course’s inaugural intake that commences on 10 November 2021.

Mr Thomas Sim, Chairman of SLA Human Capital Development Committee and Mr Bill Chua, Course Convener of Advanced Diploma in Digital Supply Chain, shares why logisticians should consider registering for this 10-month programme.

“The freshly curated Advanced Diploma reflects an intended fine balance between the fundamental concepts of supply chain, and the emerging trends in digitalisation, so that you are well poised with essential and new skillsets that are relevant yet future proof for the evolving supply chain industry. This will equip you with with new knowledge and skills in the area of supply chain management so that you can move in tandem with the evolving business models gearing towards digitalisation,” shared Mr Chua.

Mr Thomas Sim highlighted that “Not only is this Advanced Diploma recognised locally but also internationally. The Advanced Diploma is validated by FIATA - International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations. FIATA is a non-governmental, membership-based organization representing freight forwarders in some 150 countries. TLA Advanced Diploma graduates are qualified to apply for the exclusive globally recognised dual qualification – FIATA Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management (by Vocational Training & Examination). In short, you will obtain two certifications – locally and internationally which would be useful in your international dealings in the course of your work globally.”
