Yellow Ribbon Singapore X SLA: Developing Logistics Specialists

#BeyondSecondChances: Hire Trained Ex-offenders to Meet Your Manpower Needs

“Hiring ex-offenders is society’s most powerful way of demonstrating acceptance,” said Manpower Minister Dr Tan See Leng at the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between SLA and Yellow Ribbon Singapore (YRSG) on 23rd August 2021 to develop the logistics workforce and a pipeline of potential logistics specialists into the sector.

Together this initiative aims to:

  • Implement industry-relevant logistics training courses that seeks to benefit over 500 inmates annually
  • Facilitate employment opportunities for ex-offenders with SLA's member companies

We periodically conduct employer engagement sessions together with YRSG too. If you'd like to find out more about this initiative and join our future engagement sessions, do reach out to us ([email protected]).
