Sustainability Platform CO2X Inks MOU with Logistics Industry Players

SLA together with other industry leaders signed an MOU with CO2X, a joint venture by three homegrown companies, today to explore the prospect and benefits of logistics SMEs using a sustainability platform to track carbon emissions and access green financing services! The ceremony was witnessed by Law Chung Ming (Executive Director of Enterprise SG Transportation and Logistics), and Kwok Quek Sin (Executive Director of MAS Green Fintech and Technology Group) at ESG’s ‘Launch of Trade and Connectivity Challenge 2021 & Tech Dialogue’ on 15th October 2021.

The MOU aims to facilitate collaboration amongst the parties to explore opportunities for logistics companies to use the CO2X platform’s carbon tracking solutions and green financial services through a data-driven approach. The re-energised focus on sustainability will re-configure the way global supply chains are organised and executed. Earlier in march 2021, SLA has launched initiatives to help members keep abreast of sustainability trends, best practices and policies, with the aim of capturing business opportunities with greener logistics solutions and new innovations, including this CO2X platform that demonstrates how digital technologies will be able to help track and manage carbon emissions in the near future.
