Northern Thailand: Business exchange for transporting food & fresh produce to Singapore with SLA's members

On 20th October 2021, together with Thai Trade Centre and the Chiangmai Office, we organised a virtual meet and greet session between our SLA members and Thai shippers. Our members were Singapore freight companies with a presence in the Northern part of Thailand such as Chiangmai and Chiangrai, as there a couple of food and fresh produce companies in Northern Thailand who have new clients in Singapore, and are looking for freight services to support the trade.

Vietnam: SLA shares about Singapore and its logistics businesses in post-covid new normal environment

On 8th October 2021, Mr Stanley Lim, who heads the SLA Internationalisation Committee, represented SLA to speak to Saigon NewPort Corporation’s internal online conference participants who were representatives from logistics and shipping businesses. He shared about Singapore and its logistics businesses’ experiences during this pandemic period, and presented the challenges as well as opportunities for the global supply chain arena in a post COVID-19 ‘new normal’ environment.
