SLA Participates in Roundtable Dialogue with Minister Indranee Rajah

On 12 October 2021, SLA’s Chairman Mr Dave Ng, and our Deputy Chairpersons Ms Gina Toh and Mr Peter Lim represented SLA in a virtual closed-door roundtable discussion with Minister Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, and business leaders from the logistics and manufacturing industry that was hosted by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). The session focused on the challenges and experiences with implementing flexible work arrangements for employees on the front-line.  

According to SBF, the participants also shared innovative ways in which businesses can support their employees’ work-life harmony while ensuring business continuity, and Minister Indranee noted that dialogue between companies and employees was critical to designing a work-life harmony model that was synergistic with the company's culture and business needs.
