"LOOK OUT!" and "LOOK UP!": Road Safety Campaign

"LOOK OUT!" and "LOOK UP!" to make driving and cycling on our roads safer! In early November, the Singapore Cycling Federation (SCF) and Safe Cycling Task Force (SCTF) launched a ground-up campaign with SLA and Singapore Transport Association (STA) to promote mutual understanding of one another’s blind spots between cyclists and heavy vehicle drivers. This initiative was also supported by Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore, the Singapore Police Force and the Traffic Police.

Dr Faishal Ibrahim, Head of the Active Mobility Advisory Panel, was the guest of honour for the two event launches held at Tuas on 5^th November 2021 and Changi on 7^th November 2021 where heavy vehicles and drivers from SLA and STA members gathered for this meaningful exchange with cyclists. Drivers are reminded to "LOOK OUT" for cyclists while cyclists are reminded to "LOOK UP" for other vehicles.
