SLA Represents Singapore at AFFA’s 31st AGM
Head of SLA’s Internationalisation Committee Mr Stanley Lim, and fellow council members Mr Thomas Sim and Mr Ken Ngan, had represented SLA to attend the 31st ASEAN Federation of Forwarders Association (AFFA) Annual General Meeting held on 21 Dec 2021 with 10 other ASEAN country representatives. At the AGM, Mr Lim highlighted SLA’s 2021 strategic initiatives to help Singapore’s logistics members grow and transform in the areas of internationalisation and digtialisation, as well as to meet their human capital needs. This included virtual business matching opportunities for exporters, regional forums, sharing of best pratices and technologies for RPA, AI and ePayments, and SLA’s participation in ground-up career talks and job fairs to support logistics members during the pandemic period.
