Target Zero Falls Forum
Over 800 people, including representatives from various companies and registered workplace safety and health (WSH) officers, attended a hybrid forum which focused on Slips, Trips and Falls on 14 July 2022 at Devan Nair e2i. Organised by the WSH Council, the one-day forum featured presentations from industry experts on best practices related to working at heights, which include working on fragile surfaces, ladders and roofs.
Mr Chan Hsien Hung, Deputy Honorary Secretary of Singapore Logistics Association and General Manager at Yang Kee Logistics Pte Ltd gave a virtual presentation on ‘Take Action Against Slips, Trips and Falls with 5S’ shared about applying the 5S methodology to prevent slips, trips and falls and how it can be used to eliminate waste, improve productivity, increase the bottom line, and create a safer workplace.
