SISO X SLA: Raising Workplace Safety Awareness and Standards
On 7 October 2022, the Singapore Logistics Association and the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers signed an MOU at the 20th Workplace Safety and Health Officers (WSHC) Conference at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre.
Mr Dave Ng, Chairman of SLA and Mr Eric Law, Vice President of SISO, were the representatives who signed the MOU.
The MOU covers joint efforts and projects in training and innovations to raise and improve safety awareness and standards in workplace safety and health for SISO and SLA members.
More than 350 delegates attended the Conference, comprising predominantly WSH Officers, WSH-related Professionals, representatives from various government bodies, and individuals with job responsibilities related to WSH.
