2022 ASEAN Federation of Forwarders Association (AFFA) AGM

The 32nd AFFA AGM and Conference was held in Vientiane, Laos, from 9 -11 December 2022. The theme for this year's event was "Boosting Economics and Logistics Industry within ASEAN and ASIA Region in Post-Pandemic Era Through Transformation".

Mr Stanley Lim, Head of SLA's internationalisation Committee and also AFFA's Honorary Secretary, Mr Peter Lim, Second Deputy Chairman of SLA, and Mr Eddie Lim, Executive Director of SLA, represented SLA to attend 32nd AFFA AGM.

The 3-day was attended by over 150 delegates from the 10 AFFA member associations, CIFA, distinguished Ambassadors from various ASEAN countries and representatives from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Lao PDR. Mr. Satvinder Singh, Deputy Secretary General of the ASEAN Economic Community, delivered his opening comments virtually and spoke in support of AFFA and its role in the post-Covid pandemic economic recovery efforts.
