Shalom International Movers Honoured as Partner of New Hope

Congratulations to Shalom International Movers, a Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) member. The company has been honoured as a Partner of New Hope for their intensive support of New Hope Community Services (New Hope CS) on 20 January 2023 at the Official Opening of Kampung Siglap Lifeskills Training and Retreat Centre (KS). A community space to inspire hope and change in the social service sector, KS is operated by New Hope CS. 

Shalom International Movers was a key in transporting items to their beneficiaries – something New Hope CS could not have done alone. Under the Digitisation for Social Good (#D4SG) campaign, they received $1 million worth of refurbished computers donated by J.P. Morgan and Citibank. These computers were for needy families and individuals and beneficiaries for other small charities. However, delivery was a challenge due to the costs of logistics services. 

New Hope CS are grateful to Shalom International Movers for stepping up and managing the process of collecting the computer sets from KS and delivering them to beneficiaries. In addition, Shalom also volunteered their delivery services in transporting bento sets for New Hope CS’ events and even sent a grand piano to KS!
