Logistics Plays a Critical Role in Disaster Relief Efforts
Logistics plays a critical role in disaster relief efforts. When a natural disaster strikes, logistics professionals are called upon to deliver much-needed supplies to affected areas. They must work quickly and efficiently to ensure that supplies such as food, water, and medical equipment are delivered to those in need.
Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) salutes Shalom International Movers Pte Ltd, Ebenezer Logistics and AAK Logistics Services, members of SLA who provided packing materials, transport, forklifts and trucks as well as experienced cargo handlers to pack and load almost 100 tons of relief supplies to help the families affected by the earthquake disaster in Turkey.
