Highlights from FIATA Extraordinary General Meeting 2023 in Brussels

The FIATA Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) for the year 2023 was hosted in Brussels as part of the 2023 FIATA World Congress. It brought together a diverse assembly of around 650 participants hailing from 80 different countries, who participated both in-person and virtually.

SLA was represented by Mr. Stanley Lim, Council Member and Chairman of the Internationalisation Committee serving as a voting delegate for the event. During this EGM, pivotal changes and appointments took place within FIATA, as new delegates were selected to assume various roles within the organization. Among the key developments, 12 Vice Presidents were elected to the Extended Board, and Chairs for the 13 FIATA Institutes and Bodies were designated. Mr. Thomas Sim, representing SLA, was re-elected as Senior Vice President.
