Deliver globally today: Expand your logistics capabilities
As part of SLA’s efforts to support member companies in developing new capabilities and identifying business opportunities, SLA and Janio co-organized a webinar on 30 November 2020. The speaker, Janio’s co-founder and Chief Operations Officer, Syed Ali Ridha Madihid shared how conventional logistics and freight forwarding providers can play a role in eCommerce supply chain ecosystems within Singapore and across ASEAN.
Through his insightful presentation, Ali demonstrated how SLA members can capitalize on Janio’s modular services (from warehousing, first mile, line haul, customs clearance, last mile etc) in different countries to complement their own existing capabilities. Warehouse operators and fleet owners can potentially benefit from additional business opportunities and increased asset utilization through joining Janio’s network. Freight forwarders can also partner Janio to increase their own coverage, anchor clients and gain incremental revenue.
A total of 18 member companies participated in the webinar and engaged Ali in questions ranging from customer retention strategies, product liability and possible collaboration models.
