Over 80 IHL Students Tuned in to Logistics Industry Talk

More than 80 students from the various Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) attended an SLA organised industry talk on ‘Exploring Internship and Careers Opportunities in Logistics’ that was held on 19 August 2021 over lunch. Mr Thomas Sim, Chairman of SLA’s Human Capital Development Committee, gave an interesting overview of the logistics landscape and career and internship opportunities in logistics.

In addition, Global Ready Talent (GRT) approved companies Innosys (represented by Mr Peng Foo Lam, Founder & Managing Director) and Moovaz (represented by Ms Fione Goh, People Manager) participated to share about their business, culture and efforts to nurture young talents. To end off, Ms Sherlin Lim, Skills Training & Development Manager of SLA guided the IHL students on how to obtain more information on the GRT programme, and to explore opportunities and careers with SLA’s pool of GRT approved companies.
